Downloading or using Aegisure (the "App") means you accept these Terms of Service; if
you do not accept them, do not use the App. Aegisure is published by an independent iOS
developer (Apple Developer Team ID ZM8LF8494F), referred to here as "we,"
"us," and "our."
Aegisure is a private organizer for a licensed professional — for example a nurse, contractor, real-estate agent, accountant, or cosmetologist — who is facing a complaint, investigation, or accusation from a state licensing board. You enter information about your own disciplinary matter: the charge in general terms, the board investigator, the procedural stage, your defense arguments, witnesses, and response deadlines. The App organizes that into a workflow, a dated evidence timeline, and deadline tracking, lets you consult a cross-profession license-law and disciplinary-procedure reference, and (with Pro) exports PDFs you can use yourself.
The App is free to download and use. The free tier records one disciplinary case with up to ten evidence or stage entries, and includes the full disciplinary workflow tracker (complaint through appeal), the cross-profession license-law and disciplinary-procedure reference, the in-app deadline list (including one-tap add-to-Calendar via EventKit), the read-only evidence timeline, and App Lock.
Pro features unlock when you start the Pro subscription or complete the Lifetime purchase. Two products are offered:
Both products unlock the identical Pro feature set. Prices are in USD; Apple shows the local equivalent at purchase. There is no monthly product.
The Annual subscription renews automatically until canceled. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before that point. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and you manage or cancel under Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device. We do not issue refunds for an unused portion; refund eligibility rests solely with Apple under its policies. The Lifetime purchase is a single charge with no recurring billing.
If you begin the 7-day Annual trial and cancel during it, you keep Pro access through the end of the trial and are not charged. If you do not cancel, billing begins at the end of the trial at the published price.
Pro provides the following features. These descriptions bind us — if a future update materially changes any of them, we will revise this section.
App Lock is a free feature using Apple's LocalAuthentication (Face ID or device passcode) to gate access to the App. Biometric data never leaves Apple's Secure Enclave; the App receives only a success or failure result. Toggle it in Settings > Privacy.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, through Apple, in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, a missed board deadline, an adverse disciplinary decision, license suspension or revocation, or lost employment. Reference content is a tool for your use; we do not guarantee that any board, hearing officer, or court will accept or be bound by it.
Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Where these Terms and Apple's EULA conflict, these Terms govern between you and us; the Apple EULA governs between you and Apple.
Any board, agency, or profession names that appear in the App or in its reference content belong to their respective holders. Their appearance is for reference and identification only and implies no affiliation with or endorsement of Aegisure.
We may update these Terms over time. Material changes are surfaced in the App on next launch, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts in California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect intellectual-property rights.
