ClaimReady Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-04-18 · Last updated: 2026-09-02

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading or using ClaimReady (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is published by an independent iOS developer (Apple Developer Team ID ZM8LF8494F); references to "we," "us," and "our" mean that developer.

2. What ClaimReady is — and is not

ClaimReady is a personal home inventory tool. You enter information about belongings you own; the App helps you organize that information and generate reports for your own documentation and insurance-related use.

ClaimReady is not insurance advice, an insurance product, an appraisal service, or a connection to your insurer. We do not sell, broker, or recommend insurance, appraise items, submit claims, or communicate with any insurance carrier. You are responsible for reviewing every value, policy detail, replacement cost, and classification. Any thresholds or coverage-gap results shown by the App are informational heuristics only, not legal or insurance advice. We do not guarantee that an insurance carrier will accept an App-generated report or any information in it.

3. Pro purchases and subscriptions

3.1 Free tier

ClaimReady is free to download and use. The Free tier includes one property, up to 25 inventory items in total, up to 10 photos and 20 supporting documents per item, batch photo and document import, local inventory value calculations, Face ID or Touch ID App Lock, and complete inventory backup export and restore. Each supporting document may be up to 25 MB. PDF reports, receipt OCR, CSV export, and the other features identified in Section 4 require Pro.

3.2 Pro purchase options

Depending on product availability in your App Store storefront, ClaimReady offers or recognizes the following Pro products:

Every valid Pro entitlement unlocks the same Pro features. The amounts above are reference U.S. prices. Availability, price, currency, taxes, and any offer shown in Apple's purchase sheet for your App Store storefront control the transaction.

3.3 Auto-renewal and billing

Pro Annual and Pro Monthly are auto-renewing subscriptions. They renew until canceled, and Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before that period ends. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Payment is processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Refund eligibility for every product is determined by Apple under its published policies.

3.4 Annual introductory trial

The 7-day introductory free trial, when offered, applies only to eligible Pro Annual subscribers. Apple determines eligibility and displays the applicable trial terms in the purchase sheet. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the annual subscription renews and Apple charges the displayed annual price. Cancellation timing and continued access are governed by Apple's subscription policies.

3.5 Restore Purchases

Restore Purchases can ask Apple to restore an eligible Pro entitlement associated with your Apple Account. It does not restore inventory data. Inventory data is restored separately by importing a ClaimReady backup file as described in Section 5.

4. Pro features

A valid Pro entitlement provides access to the following features:

5. Features available on every plan and data portability

ClaimReady backup files are generated locally, may contain sensitive personal information, and are not encrypted by ClaimReady. A backup remains under your control and leaves the device only when you explicitly select a save or share destination. During import, ClaimReady validates the selected file and displays a content summary before requesting confirmation. Completing a restore replaces the current inventory. The App attempts to roll back an incomplete restore, but you should keep a separate copy of any data you need.

An inventory backup does not include App Lock settings or App Store purchase entitlements. ClaimReady does not keep a server copy of the backup and cannot retrieve a backup file you have not retained.

6. Your responsibilities

ClaimReady does not automatically upload inventory data and does not operate an inventory backend. Inventory data leaves the device only when you explicitly export or share a report, CSV file, or backup through an iOS system interface, save it to a destination you select, or include App data in an Apple device backup you have enabled.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, through Apple, for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost insurance recoveries, or claim disputes. Reports generated by the App are tools for your use; we do not guarantee that any insurance carrier will accept them.

8. Apple End User License Agreement

These Terms supplement, and do not replace, Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for licensed applications, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls to the extent required for your license to use the App or Apple's rights and obligations.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date and last-updated date shown on this page identify the current version. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights. Mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in your country or region are not excluded.
