By downloading or using GigWright (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is published by an independent iOS developer (Apple Developer Team ID ZM8LF8494F); "we," "us," and "our" mean that developer.
GigWright is a personal recordkeeping and reminder tool for working musicians. You enter information about your own instruments, amps, and shows. The App organizes that information, tracks each instrument's setup (string gauge, action, intonation, last setup date) and maintenance history, accumulates amp tube hours and string life against thresholds you set, optionally schedules maintenance reminders, keeps a gig log, stores reusable setlists, and generates gig and income summary PDFs for your own use.
The App is free to download and use, with the following limits: up to 2 instruments (with full setup logging) and up to 5 gigs. App Lock (Face ID) is included free for all users.
Pro features unlock when you complete the Lifetime purchase or start the Pro subscription. Two products are offered:
Both products unlock the identical Pro feature set. Prices shown are USD; Apple displays the equivalent local price at purchase time. There is no monthly product.
The Annual subscription automatically renews until canceled. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before that end. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. You can manage and cancel your subscription in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device. Refunds for the unused portion of an active period are not offered by us; refund eligibility is determined solely by Apple under its published policies. The Lifetime purchase is a single charge with no recurring billing.
If you start the 14-day free trial on Annual and cancel during the trial, you keep Pro access through the end of the trial and are not charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins at the end of the trial at the published price.
Pro provides the following features. The behavior described here is binding on us — if a future App update materially changes any of these descriptions, we will revise this section.
App Lock is a Free feature that uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework (Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode) to gate access to the App. Biometric data never leaves Apple's Secure Enclave; the App receives only a success/failure result. App Lock can be enabled or disabled in Settings > Privacy at any time.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, through Apple, for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, missed maintenance, damaged instruments or amplifiers, missed shows, or any financial outcome. Reference content and calculations are tools for your use; we do not guarantee any particular maintenance, financial, or tax outcome.
Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for licensed applications, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, these Terms govern as between you and us; the Apple EULA governs as between you and Apple.
Instrument, amplifier, and other brand names you may enter into the App belong to their respective holders. GigWright is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any instrument or equipment manufacturer.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced in the App on next launch. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
