A private evidence log for restaurant owners contesting a health-inspection citation — Legal
Graydefend is a personal recordkeeping and reminder tool for restaurant and food-truck owners who have received a health-inspection citation they believe is unfair. It logs each citation with its code section, severity, the inspector's quote, and the owner's written objection; records the corrective action and re-inspection result; lets the owner attach photos of the condition and the fix; tracks remediation, re-inspection, and appeal deadlines; and generates an evidence-timeline PDF and an appeal or re-inspection request letter. All data and photos stay on the owner's iPhone. It is not affiliated with the FDA, any health department, or any government agency; it does not decide whether a citation is valid or will be overturned, files nothing on the owner's behalf, and does not provide legal advice. Verify the citation and the appeal process with your local health department.
