Thank you for using HustleBooks (the "App"), a side hustle profitability tracker for iOS. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.
The App does not collect, upload, or transmit any personal data to remote servers. All your data — including side hustle profiles, income and expense transactions, time entries, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple SwiftData.
The App does not use any analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking tools. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral data through the App itself.
The App does not require or support user accounts, sign-ups, or logins. There is no server-side component.
All financial data you enter (income amounts, expense amounts, hourly rates, categories) is stored exclusively on your device. The App is a personal record-keeping tool — it does not connect to bank accounts, payment processors, or financial institutions.
The App uses an Apple App Group container to share summary metrics (today's income, monthly income, top hustle rate) with the optional home screen widget. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted externally.
The App offers optional subscription purchases through Apple's StoreKit framework. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or transaction details beyond what Apple provides for subscription verification.
The App may schedule background tasks (via BGTaskScheduler) to process recurring transactions. These tasks run locally on your device and do not transmit any data.
The App does not request access to your camera, photos, contacts, location, microphone, or any other device sensors. No special permissions are required.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
The App provides an optional CSV export feature. When you export data, it is generated locally on your device and shared through the standard iOS share sheet. The exported file goes only where you choose to send it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
