Is there a Levywise server holding my dispute records?
No. There is no Levywise server. Your strata issues, evidence entries, communication logs, levy disputes and attached photos live in this app's local SwiftData store on your iPhone. We cannot read them, restore them, or move them. Levywise connects to no owners corporation, strata manager, committee or tribunal.
What about the photos I attach as evidence?
Photos you take with the camera, or import from your photo library, are stored locally inside the app and shown for display only. Levywise applies no analysis to them, recognises nothing in them, and transmits them nowhere. They are part of your own on-device record.
Can I import PDFs or other documents?
No. Levywise does not ingest external documents. It records the structured facts of your dispute — dates, descriptions, parties, amounts — and optional photos. The one PDF the app produces is the Evidence Pack you choose to generate; it is built on demand and handed to the iOS Share Sheet, never retained on any server.
Do you collect analytics, crash logs, or an advertising identifier?
No. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising identifier in the app. We do not know how often you open Levywise, which screens you visit, how many issues you record, or whether you subscribed — except through Apple's standard, aggregate developer sales reports.
How does the strata-law reference and the s106 limitation tracker work?
Entirely on your iPhone, with deterministic rule-based logic and bundled reference text. The state strata-law content (the NSW Strata Schemes Management Act 2015, the VIC Owners Corporations Act, the QLD Body Corporate and Community Management Act and general guidance for other states) is data we update through ordinary App Store releases. The s106 six-year window is reproduced from publicly available NSW legislation and counted against the dates you enter. None of this is sent anywhere, and none of it is legal advice.
Does anything go to my iCloud or Apple ID?
No. Levywise does not declare the iCloud entitlement; there is no CloudKit container and no remote sync. Your records are included in your standard iOS Backups (iCloud Backup or Finder backup) when those are enabled — that is Apple's normal backup behaviour for all on-device data, not a Levywise feature.

When you subscribe, restore a purchase, or when the app verifies your entitlement, your device communicates directly with Apple's servers. Levywise receives only the entitlement status (active or inactive) and a purchase identifier. We do not see your Apple ID, payment method, billing address, or transaction history. Apple's handling of subscription information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings > Levywise. Levywise requests no location, no microphone, no HealthKit, and no contacts permission, and includes no tracking.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any owners corporation, strata manager, the Strata Community Association, NSW Fair Trading, NCAT, VCAT, QCAT, or any government body. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or representation, does not determine whether a by-law breach occurred, does not predict any tribunal outcome, and lodges no applications. References to strata legislation are based on publicly available content and are reference-only.
Levywise is a tool intended for Australian adults who own a strata lot. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Because all data is stored only on your device, you control retention completely. To delete all Levywise data, delete the app (and remove it from any iOS Backups you have saved). There is no remote copy for us to delete.
Levywise is published in Australian English and marketed in Australia. The reference data (state strata legislation) is Australia-specific. The app does not transfer your data internationally because it does not transfer your data anywhere.
If a future release ever changes how the app handles data — for example, if a later version ever introduces any sync, analytics, or third-party integration — we will update this policy and surface the change in the app before that feature becomes available. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
