Is there a Levywise server holding my dispute records?
No. There is no Levywise server. Your strata issues, evidence entries, communication logs, levy disputes and attached photos live in this app's local SwiftData store on your iPhone. We cannot read them, restore them, or move them. Levywise connects to no owners corporation, strata manager, committee or tribunal.
What about the photos I attach as evidence?
Photos you take with the camera, or import from your photo library, are stored locally inside the app and shown for display only. Levywise applies no image analysis and does not automatically upload photos to a developer-operated service. A user-generated Evidence PDF can include photos and is passed to the destination you choose; Apple backups are separate. They are part of your own on-device record.
Can I import PDFs or other documents?
No. Levywise does not ingest external documents. It records the structured facts of your dispute — dates, descriptions, parties, amounts — and optional photos. The one PDF the app produces is the Evidence Pack you choose to generate; it is built on demand and handed to the iOS Share Sheet, never retained on any server.
Do you collect analytics, crash logs, or an advertising identifier?
No. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising identifier in the app. We do not know how often you open Levywise, which screens you visit, how many issues you record, or whether you subscribed — except through Apple's standard, aggregate developer sales reports.
How does the strata-law reference and the NSW planning estimate work?
Entirely on your iPhone, with deterministic rule-based logic and bundled reference text. The state strata-law content (the NSW Strata Schemes Management Act 2015, the VIC Owners Corporations Act, the QLD Body Corporate and Community Management Act and general guidance for other states) is data we update through ordinary App Store releases. The NSW estimate adds six years to Date raised, rather than determining first awareness of loss or a legal filing deadline. Earlier claims and transitional rules need individual legal advice. The App does not automatically upload these records; the shared widget snapshot and user-directed PDF sharing are described separately.
Does anything go to my iCloud or Apple ID?
No. Levywise does not declare the iCloud entitlement; there is no CloudKit container and no remote sync. Your records may be included in your standard iOS Backups (iCloud Backup or Finder backup) when those are enabled — that is Apple's normal backup behaviour for all on-device data, not a Levywise feature.
Device-backup contents and recovery depend on your system settings, a successfully completed usable backup and Apple’s restoration process; enabling backup alone does not guarantee recovery of every record or original file. We cannot retrieve or restore your device backups.
This data may be included in your standard iOS Backups when you have those enabled. We do not have access to your iOS Backups. There is no in-app data export, import, or backup feature beyond Evidence PDF generation.

When you subscribe, restore a purchase, or when the app verifies your entitlement, your device communicates directly with Apple's servers. Levywise receives only the entitlement status (active or inactive) and a purchase identifier. We do not see your Apple ID, payment method, billing address, or transaction history. Apple's handling of subscription information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings > Levywise. Levywise requests no location, no microphone, no HealthKit, and no contacts permission, and includes no tracking.
Levywise is a personal record-keeping and reference tool for an individual strata lot owner. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any owners corporation, strata manager, the Strata Community Association, NSW Fair Trading, NCAT, VCAT, QCAT, or any government body. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or representation, does not determine whether a by-law breach occurred, does not predict any tribunal outcome, and lodges no applications. References to strata legislation are based on publicly available content and are reference-only.
Levywise is a tool intended for Australian adults who own a strata lot. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Deleting a strata issue also deletes its evidence entries and photos, communications and levy-dispute records after a successful save. There is no Recently Deleted or full-database import; a PDF is a readable reference copy. Photos included in a report can leave the device through a destination you select, rather than an automatic developer upload.
Removing the App normally removes its local container, not independently kept original media, exported files, recipient copies or older backups. Manage those copies separately. Device-backup recovery requires a usable completed backup; the developer has no record archive to retrieve.
Levywise is published in Australian English and marketed in Australia. The reference data (state strata legislation) is Australia-specific. The App does not route records through a developer-operated record server. Apple services, legal-page hosting, support correspondence and any sharing destination you choose may process information outside your country under their own policies. Those services are separate from the App’s local record storage.
If a future release ever changes how the app handles data — for example, if a later version ever introduces any sync, analytics, or third-party integration — we will update this policy and surface the change in the app before that feature becomes available. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.

These legal pages are hosted on Vercel. Opening a page sends ordinary request information, such as the IP address, browser information and requested URL, to the host for delivery and security; see Vercel’s Privacy Notice. This website request is separate from App record storage. If you email support, we receive the address and information you choose to send so we can respond. Send only the details needed for that request.
The updated App pauses the normal record interface if its persistent database cannot be opened and only a temporary in-memory store is available. New recording and editing through that interface are blocked. The App keeps the existing database and attachment files rather than treating the temporary empty store as your archive. Database-dependent startup work in that interface is paused; previously scheduled reminders, widget snapshots or independent copies may remain.
Check available device storage, close and reopen the App, and contact support before deleting or reinstalling it. This recovery screen is not a backup, a repair guarantee or an automatic restoration of missing records. Older installed versions may behave differently until updated; publishing this document does not update an installed App.
The updated App checks issue, evidence, communication and levy-dispute saves and deletions. Failed writes keep original records, original inline photo bytes and current open form values for retry, without rolling back unrelated pending edits. Form text and selected photos are temporary until Save succeeds; Cancel does not commit a newly created form. These open drafts are not a restart-proof backup. Deleting an issue also deletes its evidence/photos, communications and levy disputes after a successful save; failed cascade deletion keeps that original graph. The NSW planning estimate simply adds six calendar years to Date raised. It does not establish a legal filing deadline: NSW s106 uses first awareness of loss, which can differ from Date raised, and earlier claims and transitional rules require individual advice. Existing historical dates and arithmetic are retained; do not alter Date raised to fit a deadline. The same estimate is labelled in the App, PDF, reminders and widget. Reminders are optional Pro local notifications 180/90/30 days before the estimate; notification delivery is not guaranteed. The widget reads a local App Group snapshot and can be stale. Neither is a legal-deadline check.
These changes require the updated App binary. Publishing this document does not update older installed versions.
