QR Forge Privacy Policy

Thank you for using QR Forge - QR Code Creator (the "App"). We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.

1. Data Collection & Storage

The App does not collect, upload, or transmit any personal data to remote servers. All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple SwiftData (SQLite).

• QR codes you create, including their content and style settings, are stored only on your device
• Brand presets you save are stored only on your device
• Logo images you import for QR code embedding are stored only on your device
• The App requires no registration and no login

QR codes generated by this App are static. The data you encode (URLs, text, WiFi credentials, contact cards, etc.) is embedded directly in the QR code image pixels. No data passes through our servers or any third-party redirect service. Your codes never expire because they do not depend on any external infrastructure.

2. Photo Library Access

The App may request access to your photo library:

• Save to Photos - When you choose to save a generated QR code image to your photo library. The App only writes images you explicitly choose to save.
• Logo Import - When you select a logo image to embed in your QR code. The App only accesses the specific image you select.

Photo library access is optional. The App functions fully without granting this permission. You can share and export QR codes via the share sheet without saving to your photo library.

3. Analytics & Tracking

The App does not use any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs that collect user data. We do not track your usage behavior, location, or any other personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party services that collect or process your data. The only external service involved is Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases (see below).

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App uses Apple's StoreKit 2 framework to offer subscription plans. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or transaction details beyond what Apple provides to developers through standard StoreKit APIs (such as transaction verification).

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• You can delete individual QR codes, brand presets, or logos at any time within the App
• Deleting the App removes all associated data from your device
• There is no cloud data to request deletion of, as we store nothing remotely

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
