RoboCase Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-06-05 · Last updated: 2026-06-05

1. The agreement

Downloading or using RoboCase (the "App") means you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App. The App is published by an independent iOS developer (Apple Developer Team ID ZM8LF8494F); "we," "us," and "our" refer to that developer.

2. The tool, plainly

RoboCase is a personal evidence log for consumers who receive telemarketing calls and autodialed texts they believe are unlawful. You enter each call or text yourself — its time, number, type, and circumstances. The App organizes those entries into a timeline, tallies them, displays the statutory damage range published in the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. §227), provides reference summaries of the federal TCPA / Do Not Call rules and state anti-harassment statutes, groups entries by caller, and generates an evidence timeline PDF plus cease-and-desist, demand, and FCC complaint letter drafts for your own use.

The boundary, stated once and meant everywhere: RoboCase is not a law firm and is not affiliated with the FCC, the FTC, any state attorney general, any government agency, any carrier, or any call-blocking service. It does not provide legal advice, does not determine that any call or caller violated any law, does not predict or promise that you will recover anything, and does not recommend specific attorneys. The damage figures it displays are the statutory maximums applied to your own entry count — a ceiling set by Congress, not an assessment of your case. Whether any call actually violated the TCPA, and what any claim is worth, are questions for an attorney or a court.

The App also does not block calls, identify callers, or read your phone's call history (iOS does not permit third-party apps to read it). Documentation is the entire job.

3. Free and Pro

3.1 What free includes

The App is free to download and use with these limits: ten call/text records (each with every field), the full timeline view, the running violation count and statutory damage range over those records, and the complete federal TCPA and Do Not Call reference. App Lock (Face ID) is free for all users.

3.2 The two Pro products

Both unlock the identical Pro feature set; the only difference is billing. Prices are USD; Apple shows the local equivalent at purchase. There is no monthly product.

3.3 Renewal, cancellation, refunds

The Annual subscription renews automatically until canceled. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before that point. Payment goes to your Apple ID; manage or cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Refunds are determined solely by Apple under its published policies. The Lifetime purchase is a single charge with no recurring billing.

3.4 Trial forfeiture

If you start the 14-day trial and cancel during it, you keep Pro access through the end of the trial without charge. If you do not cancel, the paid period begins when the trial ends.

4. Pro features, as binding descriptions

Pro provides the following. These descriptions bind us — if a future update materially changes any of them, we will revise this section.

4.1 App Lock (free)

App Lock uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework (Face ID or device passcode) to gate the App. Biometric data never leaves Apple's Secure Enclave; the App receives only a success or failure result. Toggle it in Settings > Privacy at any time.

5. What you are responsible for

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, through Apple, in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost or rejected claims, missed limitation periods, adverse litigation outcomes, or any decision made in reliance on the App's reference content or calculations. No statement in the App is a guarantee that any court, agency, or counterparty will accept, credit, or be persuaded by your records.

7. Apple's standard EULA

Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement for licensed applications, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Between you and us, these Terms control; between you and Apple, the Apple EULA controls.

8. Names and marks

FCC, FTC, NACA, and every agency, registry, carrier, and service named in the App or in this document are the marks of their respective holders, used only to refer to those entities. RoboCase is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be surfaced in the App on next launch. Continued use after a change is acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
