Sparkwell Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-06-21 · Last updated: 2026-06-21

In short. Sparkwell is an offline deck of original conversation prompts and small shared activities, made for fun and connection. It is entertainment, not professional advice. A single one-time purchase unlocks the full deck — there is no subscription. Everything runs on your device.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Sparkwell ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is published by an independent iOS developer (Apple Developer Team ID ZM8LF8494F).

2. What Sparkwell is

Sparkwell is an entertainment and lifestyle app: a deck of 290 original cards for couples, friends, and family, mixing conversation prompts with "micro-experiences" such as short in-the-moment rituals, a message to send someone, and zero-cost mini-date ideas. The cards are intended to spark conversation and shared moments. They are not therapy, counseling, medical, legal, or any other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for it. You decide what is appropriate to ask, share, or do with the people you are with.

3. Age rating and content

Sparkwell is rated 17+. The Spicy category is written to be tasteful and is not sexually explicit, but it is meant for adults; it sits behind a filter that can be turned off. By using the app you confirm you are old enough to do so in your jurisdiction.

4. The one-time purchase

Sparkwell is free to try with a sample of about 40 cards. The optional in-app purchase described below is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge. Purchases are subject to Apple's standard terms; pricing and availability are shown at the point of sale.

To restore a previous purchase on a new or reset device, use "Restore Purchase" on the unlock screen while signed in to the Apple ID used for the original purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, not by the developer.

5. Your data

Sparkwell stores your favorites and reading progress only on your device, and collects no personal data. See the Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for your own device backups; the developer cannot recover data stored only on your device.

6. Acceptable use

The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, redistribute, resell, or republish the card content, and not to reverse-engineer the app except to the extent permitted by law. The card content is original and is protected by intellectual-property rights owned by the developer.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or from any conversation or activity it prompts. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. Changes

These Terms may be updated as the app evolves; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected in an app update. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
