By downloading, installing, or using TenantDesk, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
TenantDesk is a personal documentation and reference tool for renters. It helps you organize condition photos, maintenance requests, communications, and lease information. It also provides plain-language summaries of publicly available state tenant laws.
TenantDesk does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or attorney services. State rights references are summaries of publicly available laws with links to official state government sources. Notice templates are convenience starting points, not lawyer-drafted legal documents. They do not create an attorney-client relationship. For serious disputes or legal action, consult a licensed attorney in your state. Laws change frequently - always verify with official sources before taking action.
The free tier includes:
TenantDesk Pro unlocks unlimited tenancies, photos, and maintenance requests, plus evidence package PDF export, notice templates (repair demand, vacate notice, deposit demand letter), deposit deadline tracker, communication log, document storage, response time analytics, Face ID/Touch ID lock, rent payment log, and CSV data export.
The Lifetime option is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks all Pro features with no recurring charges. The Annual option is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation and automatically renews unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Subscriptions are non-refundable within the active period.
All data you create in TenantDesk (photos, maintenance records, documents, communications, payments) is stored locally on your device. We have no access to your data. You are solely responsible for backing up your device. Deleting the app permanently removes all data.
You agree to use TenantDesk only for its intended purpose: personal documentation of your tenancy. You agree not to use the app to harass, threaten, or defame any person.
TenantDesk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any state law references. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of TenantDesk, including but not limited to loss of security deposits, adverse legal outcomes, or data loss.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and delivered through App Store updates. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
