Is there an Agistly server holding my boarding and lien records?
No. There is no Agistly server. Your boarding accounts, charge and payment entries, lien notices, communication log, and photos live in this app's local SwiftData store on your iPhone. We cannot read them, restore them, or move them.
Does the app upload my photos or any files?
No. If you attach a photo to a charge or a lien notice — for example an animal-condition image or a certified-mail receipt — that photo is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded. Agistly does not offer PDF or file import; the one PDF it creates is the lien evidence summary you choose to generate, which is built on demand and handed to the iOS Share Sheet, not retained on any server.
Do you collect analytics, crash logs, or an advertising identifier?
No. There is no analytics framework, no crash reporter, and no advertising identifier in the app. We do not know how often you open it, which screens you visit, how many accounts you track, or whether you subscribed — except through Apple's standard, aggregate developer sales reports.
How does Agistly produce the lien timeline and reference the law?
Entirely on your iPhone, with deterministic rule-based logic. The lien-notice timeline and the 49-state agister/stableman lien reference are built from bundled content drawn from publicly available state statutes, which we update through ordinary App Store releases. Nothing about this is sent anywhere, and it is reference content, not legal advice.
Does the app collect any animal health or veterinary data?
No. Agistly records boarding-business facts only — who the boarder is, an animal reference label, the rate, charges, payments, lien notices, and communications. It has no HealthKit integration and does not record veterinary or animal-health information.
Does anything go to my iCloud or Apple ID?
No. Agistly does not declare the iCloud entitlement; there is no CloudKit container and no remote sync. Your records are included in your standard iOS Backups (iCloud Backup or Finder/iTunes backup) when those are enabled — that is Apple's normal backup behavior for all on-device data, not an Agistly feature.
This data is included in your standard iOS Backups when you have those enabled. We do not have access to your iOS Backups — only Apple does, under their published privacy terms. If you delete the app and have no iOS Backup, the records on the device cannot be recovered by us, because there is no remote copy.
aps-environment entitlement.Agistly offers an optional Pro tier (an annual and a monthly auto-renewing subscription) via Apple's StoreKit 2. When you subscribe, restore a purchase, or when the app verifies your entitlement, your device communicates directly with Apple's servers. Agistly receives only the entitlement status (active or inactive) and a purchase identifier. We do not see your Apple ID, payment method, billing address, or transaction history. Apple's handling of subscription information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can revoke any of these at any time in iOS Settings > Agistly. Agistly requests no location, no microphone, no HealthKit, and no contacts permission, and offers no PDF or file import.
Agistly is a personal recordkeeping and reference tool for stable owners, trainers, and livestock agistors. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government body, agricultural agency, equine or livestock association, stable-management software, or court. It uses no government logo or mark, implies no official endorsement, and submits records to no system. It does not provide legal advice, does not determine whether a lien is valid, does not predict whether a sale is lawful, and does not conduct foreclosures. Enforcing an agister's lien incorrectly can expose you to a conversion claim with actual and punitive damages; consult a lawyer before acting. References to state lien law are based on publicly available regulatory content and are reference-only.
Agistly is a business tool intended for U.S. adults who operate or work in a boarding or agistment business. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Because all data is stored only on your device, you control retention completely. To delete all Agistly data, delete the app (and remove it from any iOS Backups you have saved). There is no remote copy for us to delete.
Agistly is published in English and marketed in the United States. The reference data (agister and stableman lien law by state) is U.S.-specific. The app does not transfer your data internationally because it does not transfer your data anywhere.
If a future release ever changes how the app handles data — for example, if a later version ever introduces any sync, analytics, or third-party integration — we will update this policy and surface the change in the app before that feature becomes available. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
