In Case File > Reports & Export, choose Case Report PDF for detailed records, selected photos and readable PDF pages, or Evidence Packet ZIP for available originals, an index and an optional detailed report. Review counts and listed-only file reasons before sharing. Journals and private Notes are opt-in; attachment selection does not filter whole-case record text. Original files can contain information beyond report selections. Evidence Index PDF is a separate catalogue-only entry. Both the index and ZIP support category, date, related-record and individual attachment filters and optional file checks. ZIP includes its own matching index; filters also govern its report attachments, while an included report keeps whole-case record text.
PDF and ZIP exports are not encrypted and may contain sensitive files and location metadata. Review them before sharing. For a restorable, password-protected case archive, use Settings > Case Backup instead.
Open Case File > Import Communications for EML email or UTF-8 CSV previews. Check the dates, contacts and direction. Preview up to three records free; saving requires Pro. Originals and supported email attachments are retained. An original CSV includes all its rows, even unselected ones. Review sources before sharing. The App does not access your mailbox or SMS history and does not import MBOX.
Create a .casekeep backup in Settings > Case Backup, save it through Files, and keep its password. New passwords need at least six characters. On the new device, select Restore From Backup, enter the original password and confirm the preview. This creates a new case; it never merges existing cases. Saved backup dates are per case and do not verify restoration. Restore Purchases restores Pro, not records. No automatic device sync, Mac app or web app is provided.
CaseKeep creates version 2 encrypted backups up to 5 GB, subject to storage and record limits: 50,000 records and 256 MB of media per record. It preserves saved case records and available original photos, EML/CSV sources and PDF/Word files. Missing file contents are counted and cannot be recovered. To restore a version 2 backup, use a version of CaseKeep that supports that format. Earlier backups remain supported within their original format limits. Preparation and restoration need extra working space. Progress, cancellation and detected storage errors are shown; keep the App open. Cancelling a Files save keeps the prepared encrypted backup for retry until you leave or discard it. Save dates only record a successful Files callback. Interrupted restores clean up only their unfinished case copy; cleanup failures require retry and may leave local temporary copies until resolved. See the Privacy Policy and Terms for complete limits and cleanup behavior.
Evidence Vault, Contacts, Daily Journal, App Lock, CSV exports, the one-page case preview and supported backup restoration are free. Free creation limits are one active case, 12 events with two photos per event, and three incomplete deadlines per case. Pro adds more cases/events/deadlines, editable Communications and Expenses, preparation checklists, PDF/ZIP exports, the widget, case archiving and encrypted backup creation. Communication-import previews show up to three records free; saving imports requires Pro. Existing Pro records remain viewable after downgrade. Apple confirms the available purchase price and trial eligibility.
You can choose AUD in the case editor; A$ amounts are labels, not currency conversion. Dates follow device settings. CaseKeep helps organise records, not calculate legal deadlines or provide Western Australian court procedures. New customers can choose Annual or Lifetime; Apple confirms local prices and trial eligibility. Lifetime Pro access remains through updates to this App, without a promise of perpetual maintenance or separate future products.
