HustleBooks Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HustleBooks (the "App"), a side hustle profitability tracker for iOS. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

HustleBooks is a personal record-keeping tool that helps you track income, expenses, and time spent on individual side hustles. The App calculates effective hourly rates and profitability metrics based on the data you enter. The App is not a financial advisor, tax tool, or accounting software.

2. Free Tier

The free tier includes:

• Up to 3 side hustle profiles
• Full income, expense, and time tracking per hustle
• Recurring transactions (weekly, biweekly, monthly, yearly)
• Monthly income goals with progress tracking
• Dashboard with traffic light color-coded hourly rates
• Quick Entry for fast transaction logging
• Hustle detail view with expense breakdown
• Home screen widgets

3. Pro Subscription

HustleBooks Pro unlocks additional features:

• Unlimited side hustle profiles
• Start/stop timer for automatic hour tracking
• Hustle Scorecard with comparative rankings
• Efficiency Map visualization
• 6-month trend charts (income and hourly rate)
• CSV data export

4. Subscription Terms

• HustleBooks Pro Monthly: $2.99 USD per month
• HustleBooks Pro Annual: $19.99 USD per year
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refund is provided for the unused portion of a subscription period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

5. Data & Privacy

All data you enter is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, access, or store your data on any server. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete details.

6. Accuracy of Calculations

The App provides calculations based on the data you enter. While we use banker's rounding (Decimal arithmetic) for precision, the App is a personal tracking tool and does not guarantee the accuracy of any financial analysis. You are responsible for verifying calculations for any business or tax purposes.

7. No Financial Advice

The App does not provide financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. Signals (Scale, Maintain, Test Longer, Review, Consider Stopping) are informational indicators based on your data, not professional recommendations. Consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in the App are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, financial loss, or business decisions made based on App calculations.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of applicable jurisdiction.
