JobBook

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

The short version

JobBook stores every application, interview note, contact, offer, resume, and cover letter entirely on your device. We collect nothing, transmit nothing, and make no network calls beyond Apple's StoreKit for subscription management.

What data we collect

None. We do not operate a backend and we do not run analytics or crash reporting. We have no way of knowing who uses the app, when, or how often.

Data you enter into JobBook

The information you enter (companies, roles, interview questions, answers, reflections, offers, contacts, resumes, cover letters, notes, tags) is saved to Apple's SwiftData store on this device. Those records are included in your iCloud device backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings, per standard Apple behavior, but they are not synced to any service JobBook operates.

Permissions we request

Subscriptions

JobBook Pro is purchased through Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles the transaction and the receipt verification. We do not see your Apple ID, your payment method, or any personally identifiable information. If you restore purchases, that call goes to Apple, not to JobBook.

Third-party services

None. JobBook uses no third-party SDKs, no Firebase, no analytics providers, and no ad networks. We never share data with LinkedIn, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other company.

AI

JobBook does not use AI. Your notes, interview answers, cover letters, and offers are not sent to any language model, embedding service, or training pipeline.

Children's privacy

JobBook is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy
