These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MenoLog iOS application ("MenoLog" or "the app"). By downloading or using MenoLog, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Not Medical Advice

Who Can Use MenoLog

You must be at least 18 years old to use MenoLog. MenoLog is intended for adults tracking their own menopause or perimenopause experience.

Free Tier

MenoLog is free to download. The free tier includes:

• Daily logging (mood, period status, optional notes)
• Symptom tracking with severity scoring (no cap on how many)
• Trigger logging (sleep, stress, alcohol, caffeine, heat, exercise, and more)
• Calendar month heatmap with tap-to-recap on any logged day
• Basic insights: symptom frequency, severity trend, and mood trend over 30, 60, or 90 days
• Hashtag support in notes
• Optional daily reminder notification
• Read-only Apple Health integration, App Lock, and CSV export
• Treatment Journey, medication changes, and weekly reviews
• Fully private, on-device storage

Pro Access

MenoLog Pro is available through an optional auto-renewing subscription or a Lifetime one-time purchase. Every Pro purchase option unlocks:

• Treatment response — compare symptom patterns before and after a treatment change
• Advanced patterns — trigger and symptom correlations, plus month-over-month comparison
• Calendar search — find any day by note keyword or hashtag
• Appointment Pack — a two-page treatment and symptom summary for your next visit

Purchase Terms

• Monthly subscription: $3.99 per month
• Annual subscription: eligible new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial, then $29.99 per year
• Lifetime purchase: $39.99 one-time non-consumable purchase with no recurring charge
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• For an eligible Annual free trial, no charge is made for 7 days. The subscription converts to $29.99 per year unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions automatically renew within 24 hours before the end of the current period, unless canceled at least 24 hours in advance. The renewal price equals the original subscription price.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• The Lifetime purchase does not expire or auto-renew and can be restored on devices using the same Apple ID.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store policies.

Your Data

MenoLog stores all data locally on your device. We do not operate servers that hold your health information. You are responsible for backups of your device. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of MenoLog, except to the extent permitted by law. You agree not to use MenoLog to violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

No Warranty

MenoLog is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every reminder will deliver at the exact requested time (notification delivery is controlled by iOS).

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of MenoLog, including any health outcome or decision influenced by information recorded in the app. You remain solely responsible for your health decisions and for discussing treatment options with a qualified healthcare provider.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on the app's About screen. Continued use of MenoLog after changes constitutes acceptance.
