Overview

TenantDesk is a local-only tenant documentation app. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your personal data. Your apartment photos, maintenance records, lease information, and all other data remain exclusively on your device.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. There is no server, no cloud backup, and no remote database. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device.

Camera and Photo Library

TenantDesk requests camera access to take condition photos of your apartment. It requests photo library access to import existing photos. Photo metadata (date, GPS coordinates) is preserved for evidence integrity. All photos remain on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.

Location

TenantDesk requests location access (when in use) solely to GPS-tag apartment condition photos. Location data is stored only as part of the photo metadata on your device. We never transmit location data to any server or third party.

Face ID / Touch ID

TenantDesk offers an optional app lock feature using Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode. Biometric data is handled entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. We never access, store, or transmit biometric data.

State Rights Reference

Tenant rights reference data is bundled within the app and loaded offline. No network requests are made to display this information.

Subscriptions

TenantDesk offers optional in-app subscriptions processed through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework on your device.

Third-Party Services

TenantDesk does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The only external service interaction is Apple's StoreKit for subscription management.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. Period. The app has no network capability beyond Apple's StoreKit for subscription verification.

Children's Privacy

TenantDesk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and delivered through App Store updates.
