Quench is a personal shop tool for knifemakers. From a cited steel corpus and the gear you own, it generates an equipment-aware heat-treat schedule — a soak scaled to your blade thickness, the best quench you can run, cryo when the steel calls for it, and temper temperatures solved from the curve for your target hardness — then runs the day with stage timers and logs each batch with its measured hardness so your good results become repeatable. Every figure is compiled from publicly available manufacturer datasheets and references, cited per steel. All data stays on your iPhone.
