These terms govern your use of the Tabletally iOS app. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Tabletally is a personal companion tool for in-person board game nights. It helps you choose a game from your own collection, keep score on score pads you build yourself, log the plays that result, view statistics, and track games you have lent. It is a recordkeeping and utility tool for your own use.
The score pads, collection entries, players, plays, loans, and photos you create are your own content, created and stored by you for your personal use. Tabletally ships no official publisher score sheets, no game artwork, and no rules or strategy content, and it bundles no game database. The neutral archetype pads included as starting points are generic and in-house. Game titles and factual attributes (player counts, playing time, year) are treated as facts. You are responsible for the content you create and for ensuring your use of any third-party names or materials is your own lawful, personal use.
The optional, user-initiated lookup retrieves factual game attributes from BoardGameGeek's public data interface and displays them with the attribution "Data courtesy of BoardGameGeek." Your use of BoardGameGeek is subject to BoardGameGeek's own terms. Tabletally is not affiliated with or endorsed by BoardGameGeek.
Tabletally is free to use with generous limits: 30 games, 3 score pads, 2 active loans, unlimited plays and Live Table scoring sessions, the player-count and time picker, core statistics, and CSV import and export. Live Table Mode, core statistics, and CSV export are never placed behind a purchase.
An optional one-time purchase or subscription, "Tabletally Full," unlocks the following:
Tabletally Full is available as a one-time Lifetime purchase (19.99 USD), an Annual subscription (7.99 USD per year, with a one-month free trial), or a Monthly subscription (1.99 USD per month). Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription, and view any free-trial terms, in your App Store account settings. If you buy a subscription with a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase. The Lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring payment. Prices are shown in US dollars; other regions may vary. Purchases can be restored on your other devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
Use Tabletally for your own lawful, personal recordkeeping. Do not attempt to disrupt the app, and do not use it to store content you have no right to store.
Your data lives on your device. Deleting a record removes it, and deleting the app removes everything. Keeping an iPhone backup (via iCloud Backup or your computer) is the way to preserve your data against device loss; Tabletally keeps no remote copy.
Tabletally is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It is a personal tool and makes no guarantee that a score, ranking, or statistic is correct for any particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying anything that matters to you, including final scores at the table.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any lost data. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the app.
These terms may be updated from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
