Welcome to Typelet (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the following terms.
The App provides custom text template management and an iOS keyboard extension for quickly inserting preset content into any app that supports third-party keyboards.
Full Access is optional. The updated keyboard can insert read-only cached templates without it, including supported default and date/time variables, and provides space, return, delete and keyboard-switch controls. The local cache holds up to 200 templates and can be stale or unavailable; open the main App to prepare or refresh it. Missing required variable values produce a prompt instead of blank insertion. Shared database writes and usage-count updates require Full Access. Older installed versions may not provide this cache-based workflow until updated. Full Access does not add an app-operated network upload.

Before you confirm payment, Apple displays the product, current localized price, billing period and any eligible introductory offer. Apple's confirmation controls the purchase terms. Existing Monthly subscriptions remain recognized for access, renewal and Restore Purchases. Older installed versions may still show Monthly for purchase. Payment is processed by Apple, and eligible billing-grace access follows Apple’s verified entitlement state.
A Lifetime purchase grants Typelet Pro access without a scheduled subscription expiry. A refunded or revoked purchase no longer provides access. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for purchase to recheck a restorable Lifetime entitlement.
The subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Apple may charge for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. To prevent the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the period or trial ends. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions; Apple provides cancellation instructions. Deleting Typelet does not cancel a subscription.
Use Restore Purchases while signed into the purchasing Apple Account to check verified eligible access. Pending or unverified transactions do not establish paid access. Refund requests are handled through Apple under its policies and applicable law. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
A free trial or introductory price applies only when Apple confirms eligibility and an applicable offer exists. Version 1.3 checks that eligibility before displaying offer terms; an unknown or ineligible account is not promised a free trial. The purchase sheet specifies the duration and the price charged afterward. An eligible trial converts to the displayed paid subscription unless canceled in time. Access after cancellation follows Apple's applicable terms. Lifetime purchases do not automatically renew and are not subscription trials.
The free library supports up to 10 templates and three starter folders. Viewing, editing, deleting, manual ordering and batch management of existing templates do not require Pro. Pro removes the template creation limit and enables custom-folder creation, variable configuration, pinning, keyboard themes and JSON import/export. If Pro expires, existing records are not intentionally deleted; the free creation limit applies again. Limits count the saved templates, not monthly uses, and do not reset on a billing schedule.
Templates and folders are stored locally without App-provided cloud sync. Data Management exports readable, unencrypted JSON for supported template, folder and saved-variable data. It does not preserve every device preference or the full insertion-event history. Keep a protected independent copy before changing devices or replacing data. Current-format Merge adds missing identifiers and updates supported fields and relationships on matching records while retaining local records absent from the file. Legacy name/title matches skip identical templates and report conflicts rather than guessing an overwrite. Saved reusable values match by identifier; a new value with an already-used placeholder is skipped. Replace All replaces the active template/folder collection and saved reusable values after confirmation and a successful temporary local JSON safety copy. Detailed insertion-event history and unrelated preferences are separate. The system may purge temporary safety files, so keep an independently saved export. Local recovery copies, exported files and Apple device backups remain separate. We cannot retrieve a developer-held archive or guarantee recovery from an incomplete or lost file.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from the use of the App.
The code, icons, and interface design of the App belong to the developer. Templates you create remain your property.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date on this page. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

The folder-deletion control moves templates to the selected remaining folder before deleting the selected folders in the same database transaction. Template deletion removes the selected template from the active collection; independent insertion-event identifiers, times and aggregate usage history, saved reusable variables and preferences can remain. The App does not provide a Recently Deleted snapshot that restores a parent folder together with all its history.
Unconfirmed form input is held for the current editing session and is not a guaranteed backup or restart-restorable draft. Hiding the keyboard does not save or submit the form. Confirmed reusable values and pinned-variable choices in the variable library are saved independently and may remain after canceling a surrounding template edit. Onboarding completion and settings are stored separately from the main library.
Storage recovery can archive previous database files before rebuilding the active store; those archives may retain earlier records and history. Staging cleanup or rollback can fail, leaving residual local files. Database writes, saved-variable preferences and file cleanup are separate operations; a successful record deletion or database replacement does not prove all copies have been erased. There is no promised timed purge or complete recovery of old content. Independently saved exports, recipient copies and earlier device backups require separate management. Restore Purchases restores eligible paid access, not user records.
